We are first time condo buyers and live in Texas so we really did our homework when deciding on where to buy and who we would get to manage it. After visiting PCB for most of my childhood and bringing my own children out here for years, it made sense for my wife and I to invest in a city we knew and felt comfortable in.
We came across Long Beach Resort during one of our many visits to look at properties and loved the floorplans and location on the beach. While negotiating on the condo, we began interviewing management companies. The time Maureen spent on the phone with us detailing the process and making sure we understood every detail was certainly reassuring. Many others did not even pick up the phone or return calls. With Barefoot managing properties on site, we felt more comfortable with the level of service and cleanliness our guests would have while visiting.
During the time after we closed on the unit and began remodeling, Maureen and Bill were with us every step of the way. I could not imagine other management companies shopping, decorating and doing all the little things they did to get our condo ready to lease. It only took us about 6 weeks to have the condo updated and ready to go. Since then, we have started leasing the property and the weeks are filling up

As new owners, my wife and I find Maureen to be extremely thorough in her management duties of our condo. She handles absolutely all aspects of the renting and care of our condo causing us to be worry free. She is prompt on sending us our monthly rental check which includes a detailed explanation of all income, taxes, and expenses for the month. At year end, we received all the documentation our accountant needed for taxes with no questions from him.
We did have some minor damage from one guest, and Maureen worked quickly and diligently to contact the insurance company, took care of all paperwork, and went well beyond our expectations to get us a fair settlement. Again, we had to do nothing; she handled everything.
The fact that she lives on the property and can regularly keep an eye on our condo is yet another plus in our opinion. I would highly, and without hesitation, recommend Maureen to manage your condo.

Having used other property management companies in the past, I know that quality of service can vary greatly from one place to the next – and Bill and Maureen are the best. I have been very pleased with their professionalism, attitude, and exceptional service. I never have to worry about maintenance issues and every time I visit, my property is in pristine condition. They have a number of service and repair vendors so all issues are addressed promptly. Each month I receive a statement with copies of invoices so I get a clear picture of what is happening. If ever I have a question, I know that I can email or call to get my answer. They provide exceptional service and I would highly recommend them!
